When I created this piece, I wasn’t sure who it was meant for but the colors and words flowed forth from my mind and my backyard art studio. I knew someone needed to receive this message and they found it. This piece sold last night and will be headed to a person’s sacred space in Colorado! Happy Saturday. Namaste y’all!

Hands rise from the mud

with fingertips advancing

from your own collaged life,

the coat of many colors you wore

in the past to hide who you were,

and the collage of prayers that

may have passed your lips.
