Equinox

It is easy to linger longer

in your stable of safety,

but in your heart you

know it isn’t right.

Horse sense tells you

to loosen the reins

as the seasons change

to release spirit

and soar towards

The light.

How are you navigating this world? Are you holding on too tight?

This mixed media piece was created on deep set panel board using professional artist quality paint, hand painted collage paper, a variety of textiles, paper mache, wood, and Preciosa crystals.

Her magnificent horsetail tassel was created by me using a variety of yarn and wood beads.  Hanging hardware has already been attached to the back and this altar is ready to hang on your wall.

Size: Total dimensions of this piece from top to bottom are L (28”) W (12”) D (2.25”)
