Freedom Found

My circumstances

do not define me

and I am not

a prisoner of

my own devices.

-Holli May Thomas

Freedom will always remain free.  Purple butterfly altar with caged heart on wings.  Double butterfly on the bottom. When I created the butterflies, I wanted them to look like they were wearing prison clothing with stripes.  I added a caged heart at the top to emphasize that it is only in our minds that we become prisoners of our own devices.

Measurements include the header/hanger at the top and adornments on the bottom.  The description for this piece is mounted to the back.

My pieces are built by hand one by one, and I take immense pride in what I create and all the many curated parts to create a meaningful piece with good energy for yourself or a friend in case you are giving this away as a gift. Every single piece is created on panel board with a solid surface, and I use professional artist quality paints and mediums.

My papers are hand painted by me and everything is cut or torn using my hands or an Exacto knife in my backyard art studio. Hanging hardware has already been added and this one-of-a-kind creation is ready to hang on your wall.
